BELLA is a self-taught graphic designer, illustrator and mixed media artist that combines traditional and digital methods while blurring the lines of reality. Each piece shakes up the visual structures of art through abstract patterns, wavy concepts, and psychedelic themes. She finds inspiration in movement, music, bold contrasts and dripping with different mediums. BELLA's digital work is minimal, crisp and grungy with eye-catching, abstract patterns and unique type placement.
Her paintings are reflective of sound waves, ocean tides, with clean and precise lines, yet fluid movement throughout each stroke. From acrylic paint, spray paint to digital drawings, BELLA is wavy, erotic and dripping with energy.
She currently resides in Toronto, Ontario, where her first art show was at the Kensington Market Art Fair in June 2018. She has been apart of several exhibitions since then and has done mural work, including designing and painting the entrance of the nightclub CODA. Music is a huge factor in her creations. Using a wavy, bold colour scheme, she specializes in album artwork and branding. She is the main illustrator for the record label Wasted Music and hopes to network more into the industry.
BELLA has recently been DJing for about a year now, with a few funky mixes under her belt, she spins everything from House, Techno, Disco, Minimal to UK Garage.
